Anthony Pryor-Jones

Ìý

Anthony Pryor-Jones was appointed as a Governor in June 2020 and having lived in Amesbury for over 28 years and experiencing a great deal of what our hospital has to offer he feels that it is time to give something back, especially in the field of hospital/patient communication. Although he has no professional medical training, having served in the Military for 40 years throughout the UK and abroad, and being involved in many of his local community's activities, Anthony believes that he's well aware of needs and concerns of the people he now represents.Ìý He is currently President of Amesbury branch of the Royal British Legion, a member of the Parochial Church Council, active in Youth, Community, and Church activities and particularly concerned about the well-being of the elderly and residents in our Care and Nursing Homes, the welfare of our Armed Forces, their families and our Veterans.

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of СÓŶÌÊÓƵ Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
