What to expect when you visit our hospital

As we move forward embracing living with COVID, and the reduction in local prevalence of COVID-19, Salisbury District Hospital have now reduced face mask restrictions for our inpatients, outpatients and visitors.

Wearing a mask is now only mandatory for:

±õ²Ô±è²¹³Ù¾±±ð²Ô³Ù²õÌý(if they are able to do so)

  • who have Covid-19 and are in multiple bedded spaces and corridors.
  • with respiratory symptoms on respiratory pathway (suspected COVID-19) in multiple bedded areas.
  • that are immunosuppressed not in side room.
  • out of personal preference.Ìý

Outpatients

  • if they have respiratory symptoms and need urgent care.
  • out of personal preference.Ìý

Visitors

  • if visiting immunosuppressed patients.
  • out of personal preference.

Staff will continue to wear face coveringsÌýin all patient facing areas. This situation is constantly monitored and we will update any changes to this guidance on our website.

What you need to know before attending your appointment

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend your appointment.

If you will not be attending, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can give your appointment to another patient. You can cancel or rebook your appointment .Ìý
